International Experts' Workshop
Moe Royer participated in the International Experts' Workshop, put on from March 3 to 6, 2002 by The International Corrections and Prisons Association in Cornwall, Ontario. The workshop's focus was "Contributing to the Development of Guidelines for the Establishment of Correctional Services within United Nations Peace Operations".
Train the Trainer Crisis Negotiating
Moe participated in a workshop entitled "Train the Trainer Crisis Negotiating" from December 15 to 19, 1997, put on by The Correctional Service of Canada in Kingston, Ontario.
The International Corrections and Prisons Association
In April 1999, Moe Royer became one of the founding members of The International Corrections and Prisons Association, whose mission it is "to contribute to public safety and healthier communities by encouraging and enabling best correctional practices in prisons and outside communities".
Certificate of Appreciation from the Union of Solicitor General Employees, Public Service Alliance of Canada
In July, 2006, Moe Royer received a "Certificate of Appreciation" from the Union of Solicitor General Employees, Public Service Alliance of Canada, "for all [his] assistance in solving problems and having a positive impact within the Union". It was signed by the President of the Union, John Edmonds.
